It appears that hackes found a way to Ban another console's ID and Unban their own.

From Forum Post:

Hot off the press, and on the heels of Sony trying to find all the modded PS3 consoles, comes a funny story from SKFU’s Blog (an PS3 researcher/developer), along with a real way to UNBANyourself, but watch out LEGIT PS3 owners, you could end up being banned by another user!
1) The bans are based on the users’ account and console ID’s.
2) We can modify all traffic sent and received by the PlayStation3
What if some skiddies start to modify their sent traffic to appear as another user and use backups?
The PSN servers would recognize the TOS violation and check the online user database for known connections based on the ID’s. The user and his consoles who really owns the ID’s would be banned.
Even a simple Windows application which goes through ALL ID’s may be possible. 24 hours and any console worldwide would be banned.
This should definitely be double-checked by SONY.

 It seems hackers found a way to do this buy using a program that can change their console's ID

If those are valid news, then most of PS3 users are screwed :/

IGN revealed a new Dead Island Trailer, for those who doesn't know the game announcent in 2007 , but the game company,called Techland, couldn't find a publisher , even the official website of the game is under construction for as far as I can remember, so Dead Island news stayed in shadows for a long time.
All that changed when they finally found a Publisher.Deep Silver.
The game is going to be released for PC,XBOX 360 & Playstation 3, the release date is to be announced.

Sony Is Going To Ban Hacked PS3s From Now On

Sony anouncent that from now on they will ban hacked PS3 from the Playstation Network, and the only way to prevent this is to restore the console to it's former state by removing any jailbreaking content from it.

The full statement is below:

Unauthorized circumvention devices for the PlayStation 3 system have been recently released by hackers. These devices permit the use of unauthorized or pirated software. Use of such devices or software violates the terms of the “System Software License Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System” and the “Terms of Services and User Agreement” for the PlayStation Network/Qriocity and its Community Code of Conduct provisions. Violation of the System Software Licence Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System invalidates the consumer guarantee for that system. In addition, copying or playing pirated software is a violation of International Copyright Laws. Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 system terminated permanently.

To avoid this, consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems.

It seems Sony is trying to prevent piracy on their systems no matter what!

It makes perfect sense to make a game based on Voltron, because Voltron would be an awesome videogame character and it would beat the hell of this shitty transformers games! Also Nickelodeon is revamping the series with a new Voltron animated series, which is free advertisement.

Metro 2033 is game that passed unoticed from our gaming platforms, although it was , in my opinion, an AA title.The graphics were really good, gameplay was good ,animations were alright, but it got something missing...
It didn't give you the feeling of freedom like Fallout does , it was a bit linear.
Let's hope all these will change since Danny Bilson an American writer, director, and producer in movies, television, videogames, and comic books who is working for THQ claims that new Metro game is in developement.
The release date is : TBA
He also said that it's going to have improved gameplay and 3D support.Let's hope all those are true, because Metro 2033 is a great game!

So someone got his hands on some new information about the new Elder Scrolls and leaked them all over the web...So we get them for you.

New details about the game:

• The new engine being built will include dynamic snowfall, shadows, and greater environmental detail.
• There will be five "massive" cities and there will be more to do in them like blacksmithing, farming, and cooking.
• There will be five schools of magic: Destruction, Alteration, Conjuration, Restoration, and Illusion. Mysticism has been removed and Enchantment will be a skill.
• There will be 18 skills, down from 21 in Oblivion, these skills can be tailored to the type of character you wish to play.
• Skyrim will have perks like Fallout.
• Quests will be more dynamic with some being randomly generated and other being tailored to your play style.

Activision wrote: "Due to continued declines in the music genre, the company will disband Activision Publishing's Guitar Hero business unit and discontinue development on its Guitar Hero game for 2011. The company also will stop development on True Crime: Hong Kong. These decisions are based on the desire to focus on the greatest opportunities that the company currently has to create the world's best interactive entertainment experiences."

Sony unleashed its legal department on George Hotz and the fail0verflow group, better known as the hackers, which released security keys allowing people to run unauthorized software on their consoles,a.k.a cracking the PS3,which one may use for running pirated games.The problem is that Sony can't get them into court without having real names.
Sony asks high-profile sites to give any information they got about fail0verflow group real IDs!Sony have asked from sites like Google, Twitter, PayPal, and YouTube to hand over any info about the team.
They are looking for people under the usernames of hermesEOL, kakaroto, kmeaw, waninkoko, and grafchokolo, bushing, and segher!Some of the know for the Wii hacks too.

My opinion is that Sony should leave those people alone.
Sony,when PS3 first released promished backward compability and Linux Support,although Sony didn't keep it's promise and she disabled Linux to be installed and Backward Compability with new PS3 Updates.They guys just took back what they promished to get when they get the console.

For years, Beverly Hills psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman was presumed to be a fictional character, but today she was identified as a real woman who actually works in Beverly Hills.

Just before being identified as a real, Lieberman allegedly contributed her thoughts to a Fox News piece titled "Is Bulletstorm the Worst Video Game in the World?" In the article, which is amazingly also real, the actual, board certified psychiatrist is quoted as saying, "The increase in rapes can be attributed in large part to the playing out of [sexual] scenes in video games."

Fox News did not cite any evidence to back up Lieberman's quoted claim that rape has increased, or that videogames have caused the alleged increase. There's no indication as to why the quote is even in the article.

Apparently, Dr. Lieberman has also written two books, 'Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them' and 'Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets.' These books are real and can actually be purchased, and were actually written by a person named Dr. Lieberman.

According to Dr. Lieberman's real, very pink website, she's "the doctor who helps you stay sane in an insane world," and she has won three real Emmys. Also, she - not an actor playing a character - has allegedly appeared on CNN, The Today Show, BBC, and other outlets.

Bulletstorm releases on February 22. So far, authorities have not revealed a plan to counteract the rape outbreak which Fox's article seems to suggest may be just around the corner. We recommend you hide your kids, hide your wife.

The last game, Call Of Juarez: Bound in Blood wouldn’t have been so bad if the load times weren’t so long, as it was the game became almost unplayable. They eventually put out a patch that addressed the long load times but by then they had already soured a lot of people on the game.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel is set in present day and brings the best elements of the Wild West to a new and modern setting. As a first person shooter with an immersive and mature story, players can expect to embark on a journey like no other – one that will take them from the heart of modern day Los Angeles, California to Juarez, Mexico.

“Call of Juarez: The Cartel is an action-packed shooter game with a strong story, interesting characters and a wide variety of gameplay options. “The game will bring the best elements of the Wild West into modern times with a very gritty and relevant plot.” Hopefully they fix the issues with the last game and while I don’t think this will be Red Dead Redemption or anything, it should be pretty good.
